Financial Representative Summer Internship Program

The Agency Growth & Development Team at International Planning Alliance, LLC is committed to providing an exceptional internship experience for upcoming graduates to explore a career as a Guardian Financial Representative. Interns are offered a structured and accelerated twelve week basic training program to gain experience as a Financial Representative. Interns are also provided with direct mentorship from our Agency Growth & Development Team and an opportunity to work part-time throughout their final semesters of school to prepare for a future career with our organization. Successful completion of our Internship Program means you will have a full-time position waiting for you upon Graduation.

Over the course of this training, our Intern candidates complete pre-employment requirements allowing for a seamless transition from graduation to their new career as a Financial Representative. Due to the intensive training Interns receive over a 12-week summer schedule, many candidates are also able to earn college credits while getting a head-start on their career. We  .    work closely with students and their schools to be able to offer co-op credit.

Ideal Candidates

Candidate who should explore our Summer Internship Program include college Juniors or first-semester Seniors who possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit, strong communication skills, and desire to succeed financially. Our best candidates likely participate in collegiate sports, are active on campus and have a track record of past success. Although we do not select candidates based on majors, we have found that our most suitable candidates often study business administration, entrepreneurship, sales, marketing, communications, public relations, psychology, and/or political science.  ItItt

Selection Process

Our internship candidates are selected no differently than college graduates entering our new agent development program - this provides the best chance for long-term survival and success as a career agent with our organization. Selected candidates will be trained using our proprietary Training Platform, designed specifically to help college graduates achieve “explosive growth” as part of our high performance team at International Planning Alliance.

With over 150 applicants each year, we welcome and highly advise students to immediately begin exploring our career opportunity if interested! The Internship Program is designed for students who would like to make a pre-decision about their future career path and get a one year head start on others joining us post-graduation.
